Olin is an incredible engineering school located in Needham, MA (SW Boston).  It has a thoughtful approach to teaching--projects, projects, projects--that combines book work with real-life applications.  Olin encourages students to collaborate and knows that interpersonal skills are a must-have.  I've checked it out personally, and believe it lives up to its promise. And students only pay for room, board, computer, and a portion of the tuition cost.  Each admitted student, regardless of financial need, receives a partial tuition scholarship.
